Yall got alot of interesting stuff on here I really like the stories. I been reading alot and going back. Granddad seemed to have been a bit of a wild spot in him. I like that. I think he might have liked me. Uncle Tom, do you got more stories about him or any about mama and you and Aunt Rosie when yall was kids. I know Granddad had you and Aunt Rosie and Uncle Fred and Aunt Winnie raised mama but yall still saw each other didn't ya?

Just trying to find information on my mama,s family. I wasn,t raised around yall. I remember meeting Uncle Tom once at Uncle Fred,s Funeral. I remember Aunt Rosie a little more cause she came to visit right before mama died. I only remember meeting Uncle Edd once and don,t remember Aunt Margie at all. All of these McConnells are my relatives. I have been trying to find the children of Tennessee and Richard McConnell, but have little luck so far. The home is beautiful. Also the fields. Nothing but concrete here in FL.If you would like, I might be able to send you some on what I have on the McConnells. I was raised in Hardin Co. IL. There is a McConnell Cemetery there with our old relatives.

Hello. I was looking for a domain name to purchase for my web site and decided to check on robeson.us. Not sure if my family are the same Robesons as yours. The furthest I can go back off the top of my head is my late grandfather Hugh Arthur Robeson (I believe his family is originally from Florida), my dad is Hugh Ernest Robeson Sr. I am afraid that my father "broke" the blood line to the Robesons due to the fact that my father was adopted...and he had no siblings. Although I may not have the "original" Robeson blood-line in my veins, I still consider myself a Robeson.
I am retired from the US Navy after 20 years of service and met my beautiful wife when I was stationed in Okinawa Japan.
My grandfather did pass-down a Robeson family book that I glanced through..from what I can rememeber it traces back to Scotland; it also contains the Robeson family coat of arms. From memory, I believe it is a dark green colored shield and has deer on it. I'mm gonna have to open-up that book and do some reading some day.
